Styling Pillows - Winter wonderland

It has been a couple of weeks since our last pillow styling, but we didn't want you to miss out on our last one just before the holidays! This collection of pillows is much more subtle and plays off of neutrals and metallics. This is a great solution if you already have a lot of color on your walls, furniture or simply prefer the more subtle option. I typically have more variety in color and patterns, but this combination will be great to go with the holiday season without going over board on red and green. Don't get me wrong I love some beautiful festive Christmas decor, but mixing it with a few neutrals and metallics often is a bit more sophisticated and less commercial.

Just as before, most of these neutral pillows are from fabrics that I have purchased and then made, but metallics are sometimes a bit more tricky in finding as loose fabric. One of my favorite places to find gold and silver accent pillows is my trusty source, Target! They have some beautiful ones currently, and if I didn't think my hubby would kill me if I brought another one home, I would buy 5 more! That beautiful, sparkly gold pillow on the right - that one I call my skirt pillow. I actually found an amazing skirt at a thrift store in Milwaukee years ago that went down to my ankles which just didn't work for me proportion wise, so I cut and hemmed the skirt and used the leftover for my fabulous gold pillow! It is getting a bit worn, but it still has the best sparkle!

Again, I didn't complicate things too much, but mixed a few textures and sizes together to create one cohesive look! I still can't decide what my favorite is, which works out perfectly since I can rotate them throughout the year, but that doesn't mean you can't choose! Next week, we will have a final round-up and you can choose your favorite! Just in case you missed the first two check them out here & here

Happy Snuggling!
